Nekrasov / Ondo split LP Edition of 300 PM88 Long delayed split between Sweden's Ondo and Australia's Nekrasov finally sees the light of day. Those who have been following Peasant Magik over the past few years should be aware of my love for CJ Larsgarden's Ondo. The three tracks presented here are masterfully constructed from tangled strings, industrial clatter, wordless whispers, and menace. On the flip side, Nekrasov offers 19 minutes of his trademark blackdrone, which trudges along at an almost Salt Marie Celeste pace. Crumbling distortion is meticulously smeared against a backdrop of churning low end filth until all is lost in one ominous drone. Full color jacket and insert by Joce of L'industrie Chimere Noire (Portal, Endless Blockade) and mastered by William Hutson (Rale, Accidie Records). Pressed on 180 gram black vinyl in an edition of 300. |
